How can we help?
Answers to the most common questions about setting up and promoting your page. Can't find what you need? Get in touch.
Getting started
What AutoTeamBuilder is and the first things to set up.
It's your own page plus a ready-made sign-up page for every program you promote, all under one link you can share — so the people you refer land somewhere that credits you.
Open your dashboard and follow the Fast-Start checklist top to bottom: personalize your page, activate an opportunity, turn on follow-up, save your tool links, then share your page. The getting-started guide walks through each step, and the "Next" button there launches a quick on-page walkthrough.
Your AutoTeamBuilder page and link are free. Individual opportunities you choose to activate may have their own costs (shown on each opportunity's card before you join) — those are set and charged by the program itself, not by us.
Activity & your seat
What the "Not active" badge on your team page means.
New members show that badge until they take their first action — signing back in, personalizing their page, activating an opportunity, or holding a seat for someone. The moment they do anything, the badge disappears. Being "Not active" does not cost them their turn: spillover takes turns across every member on a row, active or not, and only skips an address whose email hard-bounced or marked us as spam. Their own seat and your relationship with them are unaffected — a friendly nudge is usually all it takes to get them going.
Your page & subdomain
Personalizing your page and choosing your link.
Go to Profile & settings → Your subdomain, type the name you want (3–30 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens), wait for the availability check, and Save. Your link becomes yourname.autoteambuilder.com.
Your old subdomain is reserved to you and shows a friendly "this page has moved" notice that points visitors to your current link, so traffic isn't lost. Update your shared links to the new one when you can.
In Profile & settings set your display name and photo, and tidy your link-in-bio. A personalized page builds trust with the people you share it with.
Opportunities & affiliate IDs
Activating programs and entering your affiliate ID.
You can promote the opportunities currently listed in the AutoTeamBuilder catalog — browse them on Opportunities. The lineup is curated by AutoTeamBuilder and changes over time, so it's whatever is listed at the moment, not any program in the world. If there's one you'd like added, you can suggest it from the Opportunities page — but new additions are reviewed and aren't guaranteed or instant.
Open Opportunities, choose a program and press Activate. On the activation page, press Join with my team — it opens the program's sign-up with your team's link, so you join inside your AutoTeamBuilder team. Then come back and add your affiliate ID so the people you bring in credit you.
Joining this way is what makes the team work for you: your team may place new members under you in that program (not guaranteed), where the program offers gift cards your upline may put one toward your first order, teammates may share co-op traffic to your pages, and anyone you invite gets the same support. Only choose I already have an account if you had already joined that program before.
It lives inside that program's back office — usually under Settings → Affiliate or in your referral link. You can paste your full affiliate URL into the activation field and we'll pull the ID out for you. It's your public ID only — never your password.
No — and it's better if you don't sign up on your own. Create your account from the program's activation page with Join with my team: that joins you inside your AutoTeamBuilder team, which is what unlocks team placements, gift cards (where the program has them) and co-op traffic for you and the people you invite. Signing up somewhere else first usually puts you outside your team. If you already have an account from before, choose I already have an account on the same page and add your affiliate ID.
Double-check you pasted your own affiliate link (not the program's generic homepage), that it's the live link from your back office, and that there are no extra spaces. If it still won't verify, save it anyway — the warning doesn't block you — and confirm the link works by opening it yourself.
This is per-program crediting — separate from your overall AutoTeamBuilder team. Your alignment for a program should match your real genealogy in that program's back office — the upline you actually joined under. If it doesn't line up (you already had an account and joined on your own, or an upline flagged that you're not in their downline), fix it yourself:
- Open the program’s team page: on your Team page, tap the program in the Team pages row at the top (or open it from Opportunities). If someone close above you is in that program, you’ll see Did [name] refer you? — tap Yes. Otherwise open Your team in [program] and choose Find them.
- Enter one verifiable detail about your real upline — ideally their affiliate ID or back-office email from that program (a name works as a last resort).
- They confirm. We notify that person; once they confirm, your account is aligned to their team for that program.
It's always mutual — no one is attached to an upline without that upline confirming — and it's per program, so it only affects that program's alignment, not your overall position. Nothing changes until both sides confirm, and your page and links keep working the whole time. An upline can also flag someone who isn't really on their team, which sends that member into the same flow. This lines your account up with your real team; it doesn't change how the program's own back office credits you.
Paying for programs
Splitting a start-up cost into payments with a pay-anywhere virtual card.
Yes — with a buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) virtual card. Services like Klarna, Affirm, Sezzle and Zip give you a virtual Visa/Mastercard in their app; you pay the program with that card like a normal card, and repay the BNPL service in installments (usually 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks). The program doesn't need to "accept" Klarna or Affirm — the virtual card works anywhere ordinary cards do.
The Tools & links page lists the providers available in your country, each with a sign-up link. These are independent third-party services — approval, limits and fees are set by each provider, and late or missed payments may incur fees. Not financial advice.
- Get the app: sign up at Klarna (link on Tools & links) and get approved.
- Create a One-time card in the Klarna app — a virtual Visa for the amount you need (roughly $35–$2,000).
- Pay the program's checkout with that card number like a normal Visa. Use it soon — an unused One-time card expires after about 24 hours.
- Repay Klarna in 4 interest-free installments.
Klarna may charge a small service fee ($1–$3) for One-time cards at stores that aren't Klarna partners. Terms vary by country and are set by Klarna, not AutoTeamBuilder.
- Sign up with Affirm (link on Tools & links) — US and Canada.
- Create a virtual card in the Affirm app for your purchase amount and add it to Apple/Google wallet, or copy the card number.
- Enter it at the program's checkout like a normal Visa — it works anywhere Visa is accepted.
- Repay Affirm — Pay in 4 is interest-free; longer plans may carry interest shown up front.
Approval and limits are set by Affirm. Not financial advice.
- Sign up with Sezzle (link on Tools & links) — US and Canada.
- Turn on "Sezzle Anywhere" — the pay-anywhere virtual card requires one of Sezzle's paid plans (small monthly subscription).
- Create the virtual card in the app, add it to your wallet or copy the number, and pay the program's checkout like a normal card.
- Repay Sezzle in 4 interest-free installments.
Plan pricing and limits are set by Sezzle. Not financial advice.
- Sign up with Zip (link on Tools & links).
- Start a purchase in the Zip app — it generates a virtual card for that order.
- Enter the card at the program's checkout like a normal Visa.
- Repay Zip in 4 payments over 6 weeks — no interest, but Zip charges a small per-order fee.
Fees and limits are set by Zip. Not financial advice.
Usually, yes. Tools & links automatically shows the providers that operate in your country: Klarna (US, UK, much of Europe, AU/CA/NZ), Clearpay (UK), Scalapay (Italy/France/Spain and more of Europe), Twisto (Czechia/Poland/Slovakia), Atome (Southeast Asia), Tabby and Tamara (Middle East). Each offers a virtual or physical card you can use at any checkout, repaid in interest-free installments. Terms vary by provider and country; late payments may incur fees. Not financial advice.
Follow-up & tool links
Connecting systeme.io and saving your referral links.
The top section of Tools & links lists well-known apps and services (banks, cash-back, investing, money-transfer — SoFi, Wise, Chime, Rakuten and many more) that are free to join and pay referral bonuses. Join the ones you'd actually use, save your own referral link on the page, and when someone signs up through your link the program's bonus goes to you. Each program sets its own bonus terms — amounts vary and are never guaranteed.
The Tools & links and Traffic sources pages list places to put your page in front of people: solo ads (e.g. Udimi — you pay a seller to email your link to their list), traffic exchanges and safelists (e.g. LeadsLeap, CashJuice, The Downliner, Herculist — mostly free, you earn views by viewing others), and paid click services (e.g. TrafficZest, The Click Engine). Save your own referral link for each so people you refer credit to you. Start free, test small before spending, and track results with tagged links on Promote. Results vary and are never guaranteed.
It's a browser extension (connect it on Traffic sources) that works your traffic-site accounts for you: it signs in with the details you've saved, collects credits, sends your ads to safelists and mailers, and posts banners and text ads — using the right amount of credits for each site. It works in your own browser, so your accounts stay yours. When a site needs you (a captcha, or a password that stopped working), it shows you a task; if a password is rejected it can request a reset from the site and pick up the new one by itself.
The Traffic sources directory is ordered by member ratings, conversion rate, and the sign-ups a source has actually produced. Sources that send lots of visitors but few or no sign-ups are marked Low and moved down. Many sites also have promo codes for free credits — they're shown on each source, you can copy them or report one that no longer works, and the Copilot redeems them for you.
Go to Tools & links → Connect your autoresponder. In systeme.io, open Settings → MCP & API keys → Create, copy the Public API key, and paste it in. We store it encrypted and use it only to add the leads you capture, so they get your welcome sequence automatically.
systeme.io has a free plan. There's a "Get systeme.io free" link right on the Tools & links page that signs you up through your upline.
These are your referral links for tools and traffic sources (the things you recommend). Saving the full link on Tools & links means when someone signs up through one, the credit is yours. Paste the whole link, not just an ID — we check it's on the right domain and live before saving.
Promoting & traffic
Sharing your page, tagged links, and where sign-ups come from.
Share your page. On Promote you'll find share-ready landing pages with a copy button — grab a personalized link and post it where your audience is. Any tagged link you post shows up under "Where your sign-ups come from" automatically.
Yes. Each program has several pages (for example LiveGood’s main page, Super Reds, Free Health Report). Your plain link for a program shows its standard page unless you pick another:
- Open Promote and choose the program.
- Point at the page you want (on a phone, just look at the top of its picture) and tap Make my default.
From then on your plain link for that program (your page, your bio buttons, links you’ve already shared) shows that page. The one you picked has a gold Your default badge. To go back, make the program’s main page your default again. You can still copy any page’s own link from Promote.
A tagged link is your page link with tracking added (channel/source/ad), built in the composer on Promote. Posting tagged links lets you see which channels actually bring sign-ups, so you can do more of what works.
Start with your own audience (social, email, anyone who asks). The Traffic sources page lists free traffic exchanges and safelists, with a saved referral link for each so sign-ups credit you. Results vary and are never guaranteed.
Analytics & stats
Reading your Results tabs on Promote and the full analytics dashboard.
On Promote, open the Results panel and click Full analytics. That opens your personal analytics dashboard — visits, real-time activity, locations, devices, campaigns, goals and more, scoped to your own subdomain and custom domains. No extra login needed; close it with the × button.
Use the calendar control at the top of the dashboard. Click it to pick a preset (day, week, month, year) or a custom range, then Apply. Every report on the page updates to the range you chose.
In your full analytics, open Visitors → Real-time to watch visits as they happen — each row is one visit with its country, device, and the pages viewed. There's also a real-time map. If it's quiet, it fills in the moment someone clicks one of your tracked links.
Visitors → Visits log lists every recorded visit individually: when it happened, where it came from, the visitor's country and device, and every action they took. It's the most detailed view — great for checking whether a specific promotion brought real people.
Yes. In your full analytics, open Goals → Manage goals to add your own (for example "reached my booking page"). Two goals are set up for you automatically: Sign-up and Opportunity activation — they record automatically whenever someone converts through your links.
Hits counts every click, repeats included; Unique counts distinct visitors. A wide gap between them usually means a traffic site keeps showing your ad to the same people — useful for judging whether a source is worth your credits.
Your personal analytics starts collecting from the moment your account's dashboard is first set up, so brand-new accounts (or brand-new reports like goals) show empty until traffic arrives. Post a tracked link from Promote and the reports fill in — real-time shows it within seconds.
Yes — verified custom domains are included in your personal analytics site alongside your subdomain, so visits to either count in the same dashboard.
The Results tabs on Promote are measured at our server and count every tracked click — nothing is lost to ad blockers or consent choices. The analytics dashboard measures visits in more detail (pages, duration, devices) and applies its own bot filtering, so counts can differ slightly. Both are right; they measure at different points.
Custom domain
Using your own domain instead of a subdomain.
Yes. In Profile & settings you can connect a custom domain so your page lives at your own web address. You get one free custom domain, plus one more per active opportunity.
Profile & settings shows the exact records for your domain: a verification TXT record at your apex, plus an A record (or CNAME/ALIAS) so the domain points at us. Add them at your domain registrar, then come back and verify — DNS can take a little while to propagate.
Your team & getting paid
How your downline and commissions work.
Everyone on AutoTeamBuilder shares one team structure, and you take a position in it. Your downline can grow two ways: people you personally refer, and spillover — when the members above you bring in more people than their front line can hold, those extra sign-ups are passed down and can be placed under you. So team members can land beneath you even when you didn't personally refer them.
It works in turns for fairness: once your front-line spots are full, the next sign-ups are placed under your teammates before anyone gets a second, so the overflow spreads down the line. Spillover depends on activity in and above your line, though — early on, before people are joining, there may be no one to place yet, and it's never guaranteed.
Yes. On My team, any open direct slot has a Hold this seat for someone button. Reserving it gives you a personal invite link — share it by text, email, or however you like — and when that person signs up through it, they're placed exactly in that seat, directly under you. While a seat is reserved, spillover and other sign-ups skip it, so nobody can take the spot you're holding.
The details: you can hold up to 2 seats at a time (one direct slot always stays open so your team keeps growing), a reservation lasts 7 days and can be renewed once, and you can release a seat back to spillover any time. If your invitee misses the window, the seat simply reopens — and their link still lands them on your team the normal way. Reserved-seat invites even work while public sign-ups are paused.
Yes — extra direct seats are earned by referring. Each new seat unlocks when your personal referrals could have filled another full level of your team: 12 qualified referrals unlock seat 4, 39 unlock seat 5, 120 unlock seat 6, and it keeps going — there's no cap. A qualified referral is someone you personally referred who is active and has activated at least one program.
When a new seat unlocks, it's held for you for 48 hours so you can decide who fills it — save it for someone specific with an invite link, or release it and let spillover fill it. Your progress toward the next seat is shown right under your slots on My team.
Each program is checked on its own. We look up the new member's line for the closest person who is in that program on the team, and they get that person's link. Example: you referred Bob, and Suzy is placed under Bob.
- Bob is in the program on your team — Suzy gets Bob's link and joins under him, so your team in that program grows too.
- Bob joined that program with an outside sponsor — Bob is skipped and Suzy gets your link, so she's never sent into someone else's organization.
- Bob isn't in that program — Suzy gets your link.
- You joined a program outside the team yourself — Suzy still gets your link. You referred her line, so it always comes back to you before anyone further up.
- Neither of you is in it — she gets the link of the next teammate up who is.
If Suzy is already in a program, she keeps her own sponsor there — she just adds her ID under I already have an account. Who invited you to AutoTeamBuilder and who your sponsor is inside a program can be different people.
Was Bob already in the program under you before he joined AutoTeamBuilder? See how to line him up on your team ↓
When they add that program they choose I already have an account, save their ID, and say who sponsored them.
- They were already under you — they name you by your program ID or email, it's recognized automatically, and they count as on your team. People placed under them get their link.
- They were under someone outside the team — they're skipped, and people placed under them get your link instead.
- They haven't added their ID yet — people under them get your link until they do.
You can line them up yourself if you invited them: open that program's team page (Opportunities → the program → team). If they're in your roster, turn on On your team next to their name. If they aren't listed yet, use Claim a member; they'll see Confirm your team on their page and confirm. Both of you have to agree. Only do this if they really are under you in that program's own back office.
Unconfirmed means the member is counted on your team in that program — people placed under them get their link, and they can be asked for gift cards — but nobody has confirmed who sponsored them there yet. It's a reminder to check, not a penalty.
Someone becomes confirmed when any of these happens:
- They joined through the team's link when adding the program — confirmed automatically.
- They named their sponsor when adding their ID under I already have an account — matched automatically if that person is in their line, otherwise that person is asked to confirm.
- You confirm them — on the program's team page, tap the Unconfirmed tag. If you invited them, you'll be asked to confirm they're on your team and it's done. If you didn't, it opens Claim a member with their ID filled in, and they confirm on their side.
Use the Unconfirmed filter on the team page to see everyone who still needs it.
No — a spot in the team is a position, not income. Whether a member placed under you earns you anything depends on whether you've set your referral link for the program they join: each program credits and pays per its own rules, and results vary. So save your referral links on Tools & links and activate the opportunities you want to be credited for. A position can put people near you; getting paid still comes from the programs and your own effort.
Each opportunity pays its own affiliates directly, through its own program and compensation plan — AutoTeamBuilder is the hub that helps you promote, not the payer. Check each program's comp plan and income disclosure for how and when it pays. Earnings depend on your effort and results, and are never guaranteed.
The powerline shows people taking positions in the shared network build, in the order they joined, newest at the top, plus your own position. Tap anyone to open their bio page. A position is where someone sits in the build — it isn't income, and nobody earns anything just because of who is above or below them.
Your bio page (your page link + /bio) is a link-in-bio page with your photo, programs, socials and a way to join your team. Customize it under Design. Across the site, anyone's @username — on team lists, the powerline and elsewhere — opens their bio page.
The co-op lets active uplines point a slice of the traffic they already run at a teammate's page — more eyes on your launch, at no cost to you. It starts flowing once you've joined a program and verified your affiliate ID. On the Co-op page you get special co-op links (one for your homepage and one per program): use them only on traffic exchanges, safelists and other anonymous sites, never your socials. Every real visitor they send builds your co-op reserve; when you have a pledge running, some of those visitors go to the teammate you're helping, and when you don't, they all land on your own page — nothing is lost either way.
Yes — while you're new. If you joined under the wrong person, or you arrived on the main site with no inviter recorded, you can move to your correct team from Your team: enter who invited you (their username, account email, or page link), they confirm, and you're on their team. It's mutual — nothing changes until they confirm — and your page and links keep working the whole time.
Do this before anyone joins under you. Once you have a downline, moving you would move them too, and they're usually placed there because of your current upline — so a switch isn't self-serve at that point. If you have a downline and believe it's a genuine error, request an admin review. (This is your overall AutoTeamBuilder team; fixing crediting inside a single program is separate — see Opportunities.)
You're set as having joined that program on your own (you chose I already have an account and didn't name a sponsor). Someone who joined on their own is treated as outside the team in that program, so people placed under you by spillover skip you and get the next teammate's link above you. People you invite yourself still get your link.
If someone on your team actually signed you up in that program (for example, the person who invited you to AutoTeamBuilder):
- Open that program's team page from your Opportunities.
- At the top you'll see Did [name] refer you to [program]? Tap Yes — [name] is my sponsor, or Someone else to search by their ID or email.
- They confirm. From then on, people placed under you by spillover get your link too.
Nobody is moved until the other person confirms, and your own page and links keep working the whole time.
Your AutoTeamBuilder team and your team inside a program (Zilara, LiveGood, and so on) are two separate things. People you signed up directly in a program's own back office only appear here if they also have an AutoTeamBuilder account.
Spillover on AutoTeamBuilder fills your AutoTeamBuilder team (see Team). It can't place anyone in a program's own tree. When someone on your AutoTeamBuilder team joins a program, they get the link of the closest teammate above them who is in it — which is you, as long as you're on the team in that program (see the question above). That's how your AutoTeamBuilder team grows your program team.
If they're already in the program, they can add their ID and name you as their sponsor so it's recognized here.
At the top of your Team page is a row called Team pages: AutoTeamBuilder (everyone placed under you here — your main team), then one button for each program you've activated, with how many people are on your team in it — biggest team first. Tap a program to open its team page: who's on your team there, who joined on their own, who still needs confirming, and your own sponsor in that program. The same row sits at the top of every program team page, so you can switch between them in one tap.
A yellow tag means something needs you: N to confirm (someone is waiting for you to confirm them) or Sponsor? (tell us who referred you to that program so people placed under you by spillover get your link — people you invite yourself already do).
If you already had an account in a program (Zilara, LiveGood…) before adding it here, tell us who you joined under. Until you do, people placed under you by spillover get the next teammate’s link above you instead of yours. People you invite yourself always get your link. There are three easy places to do it:
- On your Team page: a yellow Sponsor? tag on a program in the Team pages row means we think someone close above you may have referred you. Tap it.
- On that program’s team page: you’ll see Did [name] refer you? Tap Yes — [name] is my sponsor, or Someone else to search by their ID, email or username.
- When you add the program: choose I already have an account, then Connect my account. If one of the people shown referred you, tap [name] referred me; otherwise search for them.
We then ask that person to confirm. Nothing changes until they do, and you’ll get a notification either way. If they aren’t on AutoTeamBuilder yet, we save their details and connect you when they join.
You’ll get a notification, and the program shows a yellow N to confirm tag in the Team pages row on your Team page. Tap it to open that program’s team page, where a Confirm your team box lists everyone waiting.
- Confirm — they really joined the program under you. They go on your team there (with anyone under them), and people placed under them get their link.
- Decline — they didn’t. Nothing changes for you, they’re told, and we won’t suggest you as their sponsor for that program again.
You can also turn someone on your team with the On your team switch on the program’s team page, for members you personally invited.
That member is already on someone else's team in that program — they were confirmed under another sponsor there — so they can't be switched onto yours. Tap the switch to see whose team they're on.
If that isn't right (they really joined the program under you), contact support and we'll look into it. Switching someone on who isn't already on another team puts them on yours straight away.
Gift cards & giving
Gift cards some programs give you to pass on, and giving to teammates.
Some programs give members gift cards they can pass on (for example Zilara and Culture For Good). On Gifting you can request a card to help you get started, pledge cards you'll send to people who join under you, and send cards to teammates. It's a way to help the team below you the way your team helps you. The cards themselves come from each program; AutoTeamBuilder just passes the request and the code along.
The same person whose link they get (see “whose program link do they get” under Your team). If that person has cards, theirs is used first; if not, the next person up who has one. The search stops at anyone who is on their own team (joined outside), and nobody above them is asked. So nobody is ever asked to send a card to someone who won't join their team.
Example: you referred Bob and Suzy is placed under Bob. If Bob is on your team in that program and has cards, Bob sends Suzy's card; if he has none, you do. If Bob joined outside or isn't in it, Suzy gets your link and your card.
Open Gifting, find the program and use Request a gift card. Enter the email you use to log in to that program — if a code isn't sent, the card goes to that email. Your request goes to the teammates above you; if nobody has a card free yet, you can still ask and it goes to the first teammate who pledges one. You can cancel an open request, and mark a card as received or not arrived.
On Gifting, under Your pledge, choose how many cards you'll send and how many levels down your team can claim them (direct referrals only, or deeper), then save. Save your codes in My gift code pool — you can paste the whole gift-card table from the program's back office and only the codes are kept — and send one with a click; it lands on your teammate's dashboard and in their email. If they decline it, it comes back to your pool. You need to have activated that program before you can pledge.
On My team or a program's team list, use the Give button next to the member. You can send them a gift card from your pool (no request needed, as long as they've joined that program) or share traffic with them.
Account & sign-in
Logging in, your email, and language.
There are no passwords. Enter your email on the sign-in page and we email you a one-tap magic link each time. Open the link on the same device and you're in.
Check your spam/promotions folder and wait a minute, then request a fresh one (older links expire). Make sure you used the same email you signed up with. Links are single-use, so always click the newest email.
In Profile & settings use "Request email change." For your security it's a double-confirmation flow — you'll confirm from both the old and new address before it switches.
Yes — use the language switcher in the top navigation. Public pages have translated versions, and member pages translate in place.
Yes. Go to Notifications and open Email preferences. There's a master switch for notification emails, plus a checkbox for each type — new team member, spillover, co-op requests, alignment confirmations, support replies and more — so you can mute the ones you don't want and keep the rest. Everything still appears in your in-app notifications; the preference only controls email.
No matches — try different words, or get in touch and we'll help.
